For an economics of any culture to thrive, it must first be able to survive. That means that the basic needs must be met from within and sustained over time and growth. Ultimately, JAGUAR Now Fund was created to help facilitate the survival and evolution of modern black cultural economy.
We look for innovation, technology, and infrastructure investments that can help ensure the aggregate resources towards the economic survival of black culture in digital age. Our ultimate goal is to own, support, and grow Black-owned business in the industry categories survival experts have identified 6 critical aspects of any survival strategy: fire, water, shelter, food, health, and security.
We take these basic survival aspects and apply them to scale for the economic survival of black culture. We call this our 6 AOIs (aspects of interest). Here are a few companies that we are monitoring and the aspects they fall under. In each sector we have listed both Actual companies that the fund has placed investments and those Proposed companies that support of agenda.
